🍄 Patti’s powerful psychedelic questioning technique

I’ve just spent the last two weeks in Berlin and I’m heading back to the UK today. It’s been great catching up with friends in the city where I lived for four years.

One of the things I love most about Berlin is the people it attracts—many of whom are open-minded, especially when it comes to exploring psychedelics.

Over a campfire one night, my friend Patrick (you might remember his 5-MeO-DMT report) shared a technique he uses during psychedelic sessions that I wanted to pass on to you.

Before your session, write down any questions you have that you'd like answers to. For example; about yourself, your life, the direction you want to take, or decisions you need to make.

Then, after the peak of your session, when you feel a sense of clarity, sit down with your notepad and answer those questions.

Of course, not everyone experiences such clarity every session, but for many of us (myself included), there’s a period after the peak when answering these questions feels right (and way more straightforward!).

Alternatively, you could record a video of yourself answering the questions.

Why does this work? In a psychedelic state, we’re often more connected to our deeper selves—our unconscious drives and desires. This puts us in a good place to answer questions from the heart, with intuition, rather than just logic. Research even shows that we can make better decisions when we use our unconscious, rather than over-analyzing all the facts and stats.

As Patti once said to me, “The conscious mind is good at asking questions; the unconscious mind is good at answering them.”

For your next session, give it a go, and let me know how it goes!

Have you tried this method or anything similar before? Will you give it a shot? Are there any other tips like this you use?

Press reply and share your answers with me. Always lovely to hear from you :) Shoutout thanks to Patrick for sharing this!
